The front part of the house, which retained its period features, was repaired and reinstated to reflect its original charm. This careful restoration work ensured compliance with heritage guidelines and preserved the home’s historical significance.
A new first-floor addition introduces a contemporary touch to the home, offering a master bedroom, ensuite, and balcony. This parents’ retreat provides much-needed privacy and space for the young family. While the design of this addition is modern, it needed to blend with the existing structure, respecting the traditional streetscape with a tiled roof that matches the original.
