Willem Marcolina Senior – the first generation of the Marcolina family – sought to provide a superior quality of building and service. His exceptional eye for detail; deep passion for quality craftsmanship; and pride in workmanship led him to design and build homes that were unmatched in their quality and distinction.

Willem’s son Bill and his wife Patricia established Atrium Homes in 1989. This followed more than two decades of Bill’s experience in the construction industry as a bricklayer. Years of strong success followed and Bill’s two sons, Adam and Daniel, joined them in the family business in 1998.

Since then, it has continued to grow from strength to strength, becoming the recipient of the 2010 Builders Registration Board award for excellence in building practices – a once only exclusive award that credits exceptional building standards.

Now, thirty-two years after establishing Atrium Homes, clients can still expect to be personally looked after by the family. Son Adam takes the lead on overseeing all construction and site managers, while twin brother Daniel manages the sales team and office administration.

Atrium Homes has always prided itself on providing a superior quality of service and has further extended that offering with the recent launch of “Sage By Atrium”, a bespoke start-to-end building partnership for those seeking assistance with their new home.

The complete service covers everything from the initial stages of sourcing a block of land to design, construction and finishing treatments.

Traditionally, newly built homes are handed over without all the finishing touches with clients taking on the responsibility of installing floor coverings, window treatments, landscaping and finishings. With Sage By Atrium, however, these finishing items are taken care of by the builder.

The term “Sage” refers to a profoundly wise person; it is a namesake that seems befitting for a concierge service. Sage is perfectly positioned to provide sound advice to our clients.
