Founded in 1982 by Pamela and Richard Austin, Austin’s Wines began as a small family vineyard and grew into 150 acres in the Moorabool Valley, crafting premium wines that reflect their passion for connection and craftsmanship. Now led by their son, Scott Austin, the winery continues to produce high-quality wines rooted in family tradition, perfect for both immediate enjoyment and special moments.
Grown in the cool climate and limestone soils of the Moorabool Valley, the wines are fruit-forward yet structured for aging, making them ideal for collectors. With the opening of their cellar door in 2022, Austin’s offers a welcoming space where guests can explore their wines and create lasting memories with family and friends.

Austin’s 2022 Shiraz – $55 per bottle
This medium-bodied Shiraz offers a balance of savoury freshness with signature Geelong notes of white pepper and tapenade. Aromas of mulberry and black cherry blend with subtle hints of chocolate and sandalwood from French and Croatian oak, adding complexity. Fine, silky tannins enhance the vibrant fruit, delivering a smooth, savoury finish. Drink by 2030.
The Woolshed Series 2023 Pinot Noir – $80 per bottle
The Woolshed Pinot Noir delivers a depth that is rare, with some lovely savoury notes of vanilla & cinnamon combined with beautiful cherry & blackberry fruit notes. It is medium bodied with both elegance and vibrancy, combined with a silky tannin mouthfeel that you will remember for a long time. Drink by 2035.
Austin’s Riesling – $40 per bottle
The Austin’s Riesling is a vibrant, fruit forward and highly aromatic wine. Notes of rich lime, crisp green apple and a hint of toasted brioche. Underneath these fruit layers are a perfumed, delicate fragrance of jasmine and elderflower. A balanced, textured mid palate is elevated by that traditional zesty bright edge. A crisp dry finish that carries forward and gives great length with a hint of wet stone minerality. Drink by 2029.
