Perth cabinetry experts Brightwood Design recently completed a gorgeous renovation in the picturesque riverside locale of Preston Point, East Fremantle adding a coastal chic aesthetic to the home.
The transformation by Simon and Pete included a modern renovation of crafted cabinetry with quality door hardware throughout the home, the focus was on creating light and bright spaces without losing the charm and warmth of the home.
The newly renovated areas feature an array of textures and colours, creating a visually appealing and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen has been styled in white shaker cabinetry with light timber floating shelves complimenting the timber flooring and furniture.
The team also crafted built-in bench seating matching the kitchen cabinetry, maintaining a consistent aesthetic throughout the open plan dining/kitchen area. This bench seating serves as a dual function, providing seating for the dining table as well as a cozy window seat for casual relaxing in the sun.
Moving into the study, Brightwood Design accurately completed horizontally narrow floor to ceiling storage cabinets elongating the room to increase the appearance of the ceiling height.
A wall mounted floating vanity was installed in the bathroom, adding a feeling of spaciousness. Although also in shaker style to match the rest of the cabinetry, here a rich colour was chosen to contrast with the stone look tiles and basins.
The success of this renovation is also attributed to the collaboration with Kristi Simpson Creative, whose design expertise played a role in achieving the project’s coastal chic design goals.
