Chosen for the exceptional quality and durability the home features a variety of products from Modinex’s exceptional range of architectural timber products including Castelation Sceenclad wall cladding and Vee Joint lining boards in Western Red Cedar. The classic profile of the VJ lining has origins dating back almost as far as timber construction itself, featuring extensively in colonial style homes, it has recently gained popularity in modern architectural homes. Combined the rich timber adds an organic quality to the expansive modern residence allowing it to sit in complete harmony with the stunning natural surrounds.

Taking full advantage of the subtropical climate, Modern Thai House has been designed with a focus on indoor / outdoor living, with seamless transitions through expansive sliding doors that fully open the home up to the waterfront and the luxury-hotel-like water playground that lies at the centre of the property. Creating a spectacular focal point from all areas of the home, and visually connecting the home to the waterfront beyond, the water courtyard features a sunken firepit surrounded by water which creates the illusion of it floating at the centre of the property. Stepping stones across the water provide access to a separate cabana, with soaring timber lined ceiling, a spa and the stunning glass front lap pool that sits at the waters edge.
