This project was envisioned as a complete transformation: a knockdown and rebuild that would deliver a timeless family home with a modern, functional edge. Every aspect, from the demolition of the original structure to the expert construction of the new multi-level home, was carefully managed to meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, sustainability, and contemporary design.

 

 

Delivering a project of this complexity did not come without it’s challenges. The site required intricate structural planning to address soil stability, prompting TASS to implement real-time geotechnical monitoring and sophisticated foundation reinforcement techniques. Strict council and environmental regulations necessitated design modifications and close consultation throughout the construction process. Working within a densely populated residential area also added logistical pressure, which was expertly managed through advanced project management systems and the strategic use of prefabrication to streamline construction and reduce disruption.

The architectural language of the home is modern coastal, embracing its harbourside location with elegance and ease. Clean, contemporary lines are softened through the introduction of organic textures and materials, creating a home that feels simultaneously sophisticated and relaxed. The palette is fresh and timeless, with crisp whites and classic blues flowing through the interiors, perfectly reflecting the nearby waters, Natural materials including warm timber flooring and striking feature stone add the texture and depth, creating a tactile connection to the surrounding environment and delivering a feeling of understated luxury.

 

 

At the heart of the home lies a beautifully crafted open-plan living space that maximises natural light and frames leafy, private outlooks. The stunning kitchen anchors the space, featuring an oversized island bench in classic blue, integrated appliances, and bespoke joinery. This central hub seamlessly connects to generous dining and living zones, offering the ideal setting for both relaxed family life and sophisticated entertaining.
