To complement the traditional features of the building, the clients wanted to add classic touches to their new kitchen. Brushed brass tapware and handles and marble benchtops were the perfect choices, creating a look of understated luxury. Whilst the all-white cabinetry and extensive appliance integrations create a sleek, streamlined appearance that hides away the function and clutter.
A dream for any home cook, the kitchen features an impressive freestanding oven with brass embellishments to complement the cabinetry hardware. Other than a wine fridge, the remaining appliances which include dishwasher, microwave, refrigerators and refrigerator drawer are completely concealed behind custom joinery to maintain the clean, minimalist aesthetic. The space for the microwave was created to enable the space to be to repurposed in the future if required.
Of course no space designed for entertaining is complete without a bar. The gorgeous bar is a highlight of the space, with the stunning Calacatta marble continuing from the benchtop up the wall behind the glass shelving, highlighted by LED strip lighting. A full-height temperature controlled wine fridge has also been installed ensuring optimal wine storage.
