Andy’s training began back in 1985 under the guidance of Master Mason Cyril Haysom (Cyril was presented with the British Empire Medal for services to stonemasonry in 1980. After spending 2 years restoring and rebuilding St Paulines Church including tracery windows, string coursing and battlements, Andy went on to work on some of London’s finest buildings including Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and Westminster Abbey. The Smith family relocated to Perth in 2002, when Andy Smith Stonemasons was established.
