Recently completed by Outset Design, this extension and renovation in Adelaide’s inner-city suburb of Malvern, was undertaken on a home originally designed by Outset. Positioned prominently in the expansive new open-plan area that includes the kitchen, living and dining area, Outset Design have chosen to incorporate the stylish Lopi 6015 gas fireplace that serves not just as heating, but as a striking focal point and feature of the space.

Almost 1.5m in length, the Lopi 6015 gas fireplace is the largest fireplace in the premium Lopi Linear range with the ability to heat spaces as large as 260sqm, making it ideal for large open-plan areas. And whilst it offers a generous viewing window of mesmerising flames, it also has the ability to turn down the heat by nearly 50% to create a more subtle heat whilst maintaining the flames and visual  appearance.

Surrounding the fireplace and extending all the way to the ceiling, linear grey limestone serves as a visual anchor for the interior and exterior of the home, whilst beautifully complementing the landscaped gardens that are visible on either side through large picture windows.

This fireplace features a black reflective glass on the base. It is one of 4 glass colour options that comes as a standard feature for this model. The glass media base allows the concealed accent lighting to shine through the shimmering glass base for additional ambient lighting as well as to enhance the flame effect. These lights can be dimmed to suit your mood via a remote control. The remote control also allows you to adjust the thermostate, flame heigh and 6 fan speeds or switch the fan off completely.

As with all Lopi fireplaces, safety comes first. The clear fire safety screen is super strong whilst its fine mesh construction makes it nearly invisible.
