A carefully considered, articulated design of various volumes and heights creates the striking geometric lines of the façade whilst also avoiding immense walls and addressing the issue of wind load.  Feature timber adds a beachy aesthetic to the contemporary exterior, as do louvered screens which provide privacy and protection from the weather. A dramatic double-storey window is just part of the extensive glazing that has been used throughout to maximise views,  also allowing for visual continuity from the front door right through to the back fence where the waves can be seen lapping at the shore.  

On the lower floor, the double height glazing emphasizes the sense of space and fills the home with an abundance of natural light. The home flows beautifully from exterior to interior living spaces with a warm, yet minimalist design that includes, sleek joinery and integrated appliances in the kitchen, allowing the ocean backdrop to be the star of the show.
