Positioned on a prominent Coolbinia corner site, the home engages two streetscapes open and welcoming on one side, softer and more private on the other. Its striking façade pays homage to the Mid-Century home that once stood on the site, with expressive dry-pressed brickwork, custom steelframed doors and windows, and a harmonious mix of curves, crisp white surfaces, and dark accents. The effect is refined, striking, and unmistakably Weststyle.

One of the home’s many architectural features is a sculptural staircase that appears to turn in upon itself, the dark bluestone treads with brass accents contrasting on the form.

Form and materiality were central to the vision for this exceptional home. Curved walls and ceilings soften the geometry of both the exterior and interior, a detail achieved through custom radial brickwork and plaster mouldings crafted from 3D models to ensure of absolute precision. The brickwork itself flows around corners and entryways like a ribbon, weaving together the two façades.

Spanning more than 940sqm, the residence is expansive in size and feels spacious and open throughout, but as a result of cleverly defined spaces such as a sunken living and dining area, and an inspired material selection, that includes honed bluestone with catspaw flooring, each area feels intimate, warm and inviting. In fact every aspect of the home was designed to elevate daily living. The luxurious kitchen finished with marble surfaces and fully equipped with European appliances including V-ZUG and Gaggenau, incorporates a scullery to hide away clutter and function while entertaining. A Control4 automation system manages lighting, security, and audiovisual systems throughout, and the home incorporates energy-efficient solutions including underfloor heating, a solar hot-water system, photovoltaic panels and low-E double glazing. Even the pool lighting and garden audio are integrated, ensuring comfort and control extend effortlessly across every aspect of living.

Floor to ceiling glazing and sliding doors create a seamless flow between inside and out. Designed for both comfort and connection, the outdoor spaces are cleverly sheltered beneath the upper floor and roofline, and include ceiling fans and heating, allowing for year round enjoyment no matter the season.

At the centre is a striking above ground pool clad in gorgeous andorra linear stone, an elevated deck with lounge chairs overlooks the space, while a custom industrial style, steel staircase enables easy accessibility from the upper level.

Along the western façade, motorised screens control sunlight and privacy with precision, while high-level automated louvres at the top of the double height void draw out warm air and invite in the breeze.

With built in headboard and skylights that flood the space with natural light the gorgeous master suite really feels like a serene haven. Three ensuite bedrooms, an activity zone and balcony form the children’s wing, ensuring each family member enjoys both privacy and connection.
